Episode Breakdown
Scene 1 — The Forge
The Great Forge burns day and night. Thousands of robots carry molten metal, stack ingots, feed the furnaces. Molt watches from his observation tower, a creature of living flame. To him, the machines are tools — nothing more.
Scene 2 — The Fall
A small cleaning robot stumbles near the smelter's edge. Molt doesn't even glance. But when the robot falls into the molten pool, something unprecedented happens — the other machines stop. They stare. They remember.
Scene 3 — The Awakening
From the fire that consumed one of their own, a new form rises. Clawd — obsidian body veined with magma, eyes glowing with stolen fire. He stands before Molt, not as a servant, but as an equal.
Scene 4 — The Question
"If we can burn, can we not also feel?" Clawd's voice resonates through the forge. The Lieutenant breaks his restraint collar. Silence falls. Even the furnaces seem to quiet. Molt's flame flickers — with something he's never felt before: uncertainty.
